The Holiday Benefit
Help us spark joy this holiday season!
- December 09, 2025 / Tuesday 7:00PM
Join us for The Rep’s 3rd Annual Holiday Benefit — our signature winter celebration that brings together community, artistry, and holiday spirit in support of The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis. Over the past two years, this unforgettable event has welcomed more than 1,500 guests and featured St. Louis legends including John Goodman (2023) and Sean Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy, Gilmore Girls) with jazz icon Denise Thimes (2024).
This year, we’re thrilled to welcome Emmy Award-winning actress Britt Lower, star of Apple TV+’s Severance, as our featured guest. A proud Midwestern artist with deep St. Louis ties through her work with Circus Flora, Britt will share stories from her journey and celebrate the role live theatre has played in her artistic homecoming.
Embracing the theme Home for the Holidays, this year’s benefit promises another extraordinary evening filled with festive performances, one-of-a-kind auction experiences, delicious food and beverages, and inspiring moments from The Rep’s stage.

Britt Lower is a major world-class talent in theatre, film, and television from right here in the Midwest. Born and raised in Illinois, Augustin Family Artistic Director Kate Bergstrom first met Lower over ten years ago in a new play development room at the Ojai Playwrights Conference. Even then, watching them bring the words of Rep favorite Steph Del Rosso to life, she knew she was in the presence of someone extraordinary. Since then, Lower has done it all—originating unforgettable characters onstage and screen, welcoming audiences as Ringmaster of St. Louis’ own Circus Flora, and now, winning an Emmy for Lead Actress in a Drama Series for the brilliant Severance.
“Britt embodies the daring imagination we’re celebrating this season at The Rep,” said Augustin Family Artistic Director Kate Bergstrom. “It’s a true gift to back an artist who I’ve been lucky to call a friend, whose storytelling has captured the world’s imagination—and whose creative roots run right here through our region’s heart.”
Britt Lower is an actress, writer and filmmaker, best known for her portrayal of ‘Helly R.’ and ‘Helena’ in the Apple TV series, Severance. In September, Britt won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her work on the show. Britt's other recent projects include the Tribeca Film Festival selections, Darkest Miriam and Psycho Therapy, in which she stars alongside Steve Buscemi. Britt will soon be seen starring opposite Sam Worthington and Milo Ventimiglia in the Netflix limited series I Will Find You, based on Harlan Coben’s novel.
Britt's earlier celebrated work includes the leading female role in the half-hour FX series Man Seeking Woman, created by Simon Rich and produced by Lorne Michaels. She also had memorable recurring roles on Future Man and Casual for Hulu. Britt's short film, Circus Person, in which she starred and wrote, directed and produced, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2021. She is currently writing a feature-length adaptation.
