House Manager:

Overview: The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis seeks two House Managers to oversee front-of-house operations at performances for the Mainstage and Studio Theatres, as well as for the Imaginary Theatre Company and Ignite! New Play Festival. The House Managers supervise front-of-house staff, ensuring patron satisfaction and resolving patron problems and complaints. The House Management team reports to the Marketing Director.

Schedule: The House Manager positions are seasonal, with 30 weeks of employment between August and April. The positions are part-time, with hours varying by week and ranging from 12-24 hours per week. The positions entail mostly evening and weekend hours, with some daytime hours for weekday matinee performances. The House Management team supervises 7 to 9 performances per week at The Rep. The performance schedule varies by week.

Unfortunately The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis is no longer able to accept unsolicited manuscripts. We do welcome a cover letter, resume, synopsis and ten-page sample from anyone who wishes for their work to be considered. The cover letter should specify whether the play has been previously produced.
