Position Overview: The House Manager is responsible for front-of-house operations at all performances in our Mainstage and Studio Theatres, supervising front-of-house staff, ensuring patron satisfaction and resolving patron problems and complaints. The House Manager reports to the Marketing Director.
Schedule: The House Manager is a seasonal position, with 30 weeks of work between the dates of August 25 and April 17. This is a full-time, salaried position, with benefits as accorded to seasonal salaried employees. Day, evening and weekend hours are required, depending on the performance schedule, which will vary from week to week. A typical week consists of 7 to 9 performances with one day off (usually Monday).

Unfortunately The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis is no longer able to accept unsolicited manuscripts. We do welcome a cover letter, resume, synopsis and ten-page sample from anyone who wishes for their work to be considered. The cover letter should specify whether the play has been previously produced.
