The Story

A warm memoir that is history at its most immediate, and sometimes most painful. Based on the best-selling book about the centenarian Delany Sisters, daughters of a former slave who became poineer professionals in an often harsh world. Recounting the struggles and joys of their lives, Sadie, 106, and Bessie, a mere 104, have little time for bitterness, only an unshakable belief in their hope for God’s world.
