The Rep hosted the world premiere of one dozen student-written plays at its WiseWrite Young Playwrights Festival Tuesday morning.
Penned by fifth graders at Dewey International Studies Elementary School, these original works were part of a yearlong learning curriculum designed to teach these budding playwrights about language and creativity. Tuesday was the culminating moment of the year, with our student playwrights and their teachers enjoying performances of their new plays by an ace crew of local performers.
