Rep Theatre FAQ

There is not a standard dress code at The Rep. For all performances, attire should be comfortable and appropriate for the occasion. The theatre is air-conditioned during the summer months.

Getting to The Rep is easy and very accessible – just right off of highway 44. There are currently four lots available for patron parking at The Rep. Learn more about directions to The Rep and parking.

Due to subject matter, not all performances are suitable for young children. Some shows contain mature content, language or themes. Please carefully consider whether a performance is appropriate by visiting the individual show pages and reviewing age recommendations.. As a general rule, no child under the age of five should attend Mainstage or Studio Theatre performances.

All patrons, regardless of age, entering the theatre must have a valid ticket (no babes in arms). If audience members, including children, are disruptive during a performance, house staff will ask them to exit the theatre.

All performances begin promptly at the advertised curtain time. To ensure the enjoyment of the majority of our patrons, and in deference to the performers, latecomers will be seated at an appropriate pause in the performance at the discretion of the House Manager

Cafe at The Rep offers delectable entrees, nightly dinner specials, sandwiches, saldads and delicious desserts.

For full-service dining prior to the performance, place your dinner orders and make table reservations in advance. Seating is limited.

PLEASE NOTE: Only drinks with lids are allowed in the theatre. No food, please.

As of August 2018, Webster University has designated its campus as tobacco- and smoke-free. Webster made this policy decision due to the well-documented health and environmental risks posed by the direct use of tobacco products and of secondhand smoke.

Webster's Tobacco-Free and Smoke-Free initiative prohibits the use of tobacco (including smokeless, oral and nasal tobacco), as well as vapor and electronic cigarettes, on any area of its campus. The policy applies to all students, staff and visitors to Webster’s campus – including Rep patrons, whether they are inside or outside of our theatre.

If you use tobacco products, please keep this in mind when visiting The Rep. We want to ensure that you enjoy your visit to our theatre while also respecting the policies of our hosts at Webster.

A coat check is available for patrons at The Rep and is located to the right of the Box Office at the Patron Services desk in the Loretto-Hilton Center.

The use of cameras and/or recording devices in the theatre is strictly prohibited by Actors’ Equity Association. Unauthorized cameras or recording devices will be confiscated by the management

Gift Certificates to The Rep may be purchased through the Box Office by calling 314-968-4925, or by visiting the Box Office in the Loretto-Hilton Center at 130 Edgar Road, Webster Groves, MO 63119.

There are no refunds or exchanges offered on Rep ticket purchases.
