The Story

With a voracious appetite for art, men and the men who make art, she was the brash, brassy doyenne who saw modern art not as an answer but a question—and her answer was always “yes!”. Peggy Guggenheim amassed the most important private painting collection in the world, and, couture-clad with martini in hand, shares a collection of stories to match it.
