PARKING AMBASSADOR JOB APPLICATION

The Repertory Theatre is seeking experienced customer service representatives for our Parking Ambassador position for the 2021-2022 season operating from the Loretto-Hilton Center on Webster University campus in Webster Groves. The Parking Ambassador position is a seasonal, part-time position occurring on evenings, weekends and occasional weekday matinees. Shift lengths last two-to-four hours and Ambassadors are tasked to assist safe and orderly, patron traffic and parking. The Rep is seeking applicants who are able to commit to a semi-consistent schedule of no less than 2 shifts up to 5+ shifts per week at our Webster Groves theatre location. The show calendar varies slightly week to week (with occasional weeks off) running September – April. Please see www.repstl.org for the full show calendar. The pay rate is currently $ 10.50-$12.50 / hour (depending upon scheduled position), and shall raise to $11.15-$12.50 / hour on January 1, 2022. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- directing and accounting of cars
- setting up parking signs and station
- greeting patrons
- answering questions
- occasional handling of cash

*not a valet position

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- centered demeanor in occasional high-pressure situations
- mobility to navigate asphalt, hills and grass; sometimes with speed and dexterity
- ability/willingness to work outside in various weather conditions (inclement weather gear provided)

SHIFT HOURS:

Tuesday 4:30 to 7:30pm
Wednesday 12:30 to 2:30pm; 4:30 to 7:30pm
Thursday 4:30 to 8:30pm
Friday 4:30 to 8:30pm
Saturday 12:30 to 2:30pm; 2:30 to 4:30pm; 6:30 to 8:30pm
Sunday 12:30 to 2:30pm; 5:30 to 7:30pm

* This job is outside in all manner of weather. The Rep provides umbrellas and ponchos during rain and snow, hand, feet, and body warmers and outdoor heaters during cold weather.

*Parking Ambassadors are REQUIRED to attend an orientation session 30-minutes prior to their first scheduled shift.

HEALTH & SAFETY POLICIES:
The Rep is requiring every Parking Ambassador to have received full COVID vaccination by their first shift (or can provide medical or sincerely held religious exemption). All persons are required to wear a COVID-safe mask for the entire duration of their shift within the Loretto-Hilton Center and while within 6-ft contact of all other persons outside.
