The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis is pleased to give special recognition to members of the Spotlight Society.  Their leadership support has provided and continues to provide the valuable resources essential to a nonprofit theatre.  We invite you to be part of this extraordinary group of individuals who share a love of live theatre and believe that a vital and diverse artistic community is essential to the quality of life in St. Louis.

Several factors make the leadership philanthropy of Spotlight Society members more important than ever.

• Corporate funding for the arts in St. Louis has seriously declined in the last few years
• Ticket sales account for only 65% of the theatre’s operating expenses
• Spotlight Society gifts now account for 73% of annual giving from individuals

With its acclaimed productions and loyal subscribers and donors, The Rep is recognized as one of the most successful regional theatres in the country.  Since the theatre first opened in 1966, over 3 million people of all ages and circumstances have enjoyed a wide spectrum of work on The Rep’s stages.  From its beginning, the theatre has had the generous backing of community leaders who give their time and resources to ensure that The Rep will remain a strong and exciting artistic force in St. Louis.  Please help us continue this tradition by making a Spotlight Society gift today.
