The Story

In a bar in a remote part of Ireland, the pub regulars are swapping spooky stories to impress a young woman from Dublin newly moved into the area. But she turns the tables on them with her own strange story that chills them beyond the wind and cold that awaits them outside. This spellbinding play, which won the Olivier Award for best new play last season, strikes where the best storytellers take aim—deep inside the imagination and the heart.
