Infrared Assistive Listening System

The Browning Mainstage theatre at the Loretto-Hilton Center and the Grandel Theatre are equipped with assistive listening systems for patrons who are hard of hearing.

Headsets, available free of charge, may be picked up at the Patron Services Desk of the Loretto-Hilton Center or from the house manager at the Grandel Theatre one-half hour prior to the performance. A driver's license or other official form of identification is required to obtain a headset.

Light and comfortable, these unobtrusive headsets amplify the spoken dialogue and singing in a production.

A limited number of headsets for the Mainstage may be used with a neck induction loop. If your hearing aid is equipped with a “T” switch or has a telecoil setting, you may bring a neck induction loop to use rather than the provided ear buds.

Assistive listening headsets are not available for the Studio Theatre. Many patrons who require them during Mainstage performances report that they are able to hear adequately in this smaller, more intimate space.
