The Rep's 2018 London Tour
May 20-27, 2018
Join us for a fantastic tour of London's vibrant theatre and cultural scenes! Your tour guide will be The Rep's Augustin Family Artistic Director Steven Woolf, whose insights and company make the trip a truly unforgettable experience.
Six plays. From classic theatre to the best new plays of the season, we select 6 plays that showcase the best of London theatre.
Discussions. Post-performance discussions with company members and with the tour leaders give you the opportunity to discuss the plays in depth and compare your views.
Celebrity Tea. Traditional afternoon tea with one of the leading actors, directors or designers from one of the plays in our programme as our special guest.
Critical Round-Up. A chance to compare your views and discuss the London theatre with one of London’s leading theatre critics.
The Political Animal. An in-depth discussion with a leading journalist or political commentator on US-UK relations and major issues of the day.
Luncheon at the Savile Club. The Savile, one of London’s most sumptuous private members clubs, was established in 1868 and boasts among its illustrious alumni the literary stalwarts Max Beerbohm, H.G. Wells, Thomas Hardy and Rudyard Kipling.
Day Excursion to Kirby House. Home to the descendants of William Waldorf-Astor, Kirby House is a delightful Queen Anne period house. Lady of the House Katherine Astor will show us around her exquisitely appointed rooms, and then we shall be served luncheon in the splendid dining room. We will return to London in the late afternoon for an evening performance.

Full English Breakfast each day is included at the Cavendish.
