Opportunities at The RepCostume Shop ManagerSummary: The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis is seeking a qualified Costume Shop Manager to join our production staff. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: oversee all operations of the costume department, develop and maintain department budgets, purchasing, equipment, supervising costume department staff, working with designers to insure execution of all aspects of costume designs, participation in fittings, production meetings and technical and dress rehearsals. In addition to the costume shop staff, the Costume Shop Manager will supervise and coordinate the Wardrobe Staff, Craft Supervisor and Wig Supervisor.Candidate should have 5+ years working in regional theater, MFA preferred. The candidate must be self-motivated, able to work as a team, possess the ability to delegate responsibilities and communicate effectively with staff and other department heads. The Rep produces approximately 14 projects each year and produces in three venues. This is a full-time seasonal position, approximately 36 weeks a year. The position begins on July 21, 2008.
